Holiday Mourning

After New Year’s is over and all the Holiday excitement has passed, I can’t help but feeling a little downcast, melancholy…even depressed.

If my mood were a color it would be black. And I’m taking some time to mourn that the holidays are over, and dress in, well, black.

Of course it’s not totally sad and dreary, because it’s a new year, a new beginning and a lot to look forward to–so I’m adding touches of gold to reflect the gleam of hope and excitement that 2015 holds.
