My swimsuit collaboration with Flomotion was not just for the girls…

In fact, Flomotion started as a menswear lifestyle company, and slowly added women’s apparel as it expanded. So, the main focus of our design collaboration, was actually the guys’ swimwear.

The aesthetic was designed to be sporty and classic, and bold but simple.
The baggies were made to to be extremely comfortable for surfers [which in their terms means super stretchy and quick-drying].

Finding 4-way stretch, quick-dry fabrics proved to be difficult, but the result was prime [even without our ideal colors or prints].

They also wanted to create a pair of “lifestyle shorts” that could be worn for water activities and for just everyday hangin’ out.
